very annoying issue that Im facing repeatedly is.. when I save all and quit from magic layout.. and again when I try to open the layout, ( launch magic..file..open..inverter.mag) then nfet and pfets are absent.. it says No gencell is selected when I select the device by using i and the ctrl+p for parameters.. @SUMANTO KAR

@Radheshyam Sharma You have to load cell instances: select the cell into the bounding box and press "x" (lowercase) Then try ctrl+p -> tested and the messages are exactly as reported :-)

Yes, I think this is just a matter of not expanding the subcells after loading the layout.
