Hello!! I’m testing a Caravel ChipIgnite chip with a counter project, the standard project from the
caravel_user_project
repository by Efabless. In the test I ran, I'm getting 16-bit signals from the counter, but in the repository there's a part that shows the project with 32 bits. I'm relatively new to chip development (just over a year of studying). I don’t know if there’s an issue with the chip or if the 16-bit version was the one sent for fabrication, since I didn’t participate in the process of preparing the files for tape-out. Is there a standard for this counter to be 16 or 32 bits?
