@jeffdi @Tim Edwards As per today's MPW-2 Weekly update - "We now have STA and simulation results that are consistent with failures seen in Silicon testing." - Is this means OpenSTA is able to show Hold violation around silicon failing case or We need a commercial Prime Time Tool here ? Is there are any Bug fixes around OpenSTA and RC Extraction tool which need to be updated from our end ?

There is an update that we're working on. OpenSTA (not sure exactly which tool is at fault) is not properly handling timing through a hierarchy. I made an update to Magic that can flatten a hierarchy down to the standard cell level and produce a DEF file, and STA can be run on that flattened version. We are testing that method now and will make sure we let everyone know how to use it. We also have calibration decks for OpenRCX produced from Calibre at SkyWater, and we're testing those as well. We are using commercial tools right now to make sure we can see and understand the issues that caused problems with MPW-two, but we feel pretty confident that we can make the analysis work in open source tools, as well.
