Hi everyone! It’s my first time using magic and I want to use a 30nF capacitor for my circuit but when i used the MiM cap on devices it was too big. Can anyone suggest anything for me to do? Kinda stuck

30nF seems too big for integrated circuit. Capacitors of fF or pF ranges are reasonable. Maybe you could use Miller's method!

Hi @Isabelle Rose Sta Rita. I think Mim Ghin is correct, that is too much cap for on chip. You'll need to access off chip cap for that.

With double-stacked MiM caps, a 30nF capacitor can fit inside the Caravel user project. But I agree with the others. pF-size capacitors are common in integrated circuits. nF and uF capacitors are off-chip components, or you have to go back and find another way to design your circuit. What is the application?

I am trying to make an amplifier using inverters. I guess I'll just use an external capacitor
