hi i made a simple layout of inverter using magic tool i open that layout with klayout tool but when i again open with magic tool it show nothing what will be the error and also i try to open caravel mag files it not visible with magic how to extract layout (mag) file into gds files @Tim Edwards @Mitch Bailey thank you

that apparently has a bad header. The top four lines of the file should be (timestamp will be different):

magic
tech sky130A
magscale 1 2
timestamp 1651019111

What do the top lines of that file actually look like?

sorry @Tim Edwards but didn't changes it.(how it change i don't know ) i edit the file as you suggested it working fine now also got it why caravel_user_project_analog/files not working because i didn't add technology file in it thank you so much for reply :)
