Your screenshot is of a parameterized device. If you are trying to remove the lower gate contact, then modify the parameterized cell to remove the lower gate contact. You can modify the parameterized cell manually (not recommended unless you're doing something that is not part of the parameterized device description), but you would need to first declare the cell as an edit cell with the "e" key or (">" (push)) key.
