greetings i get "magic : : gencell ; raise .params : No gencell device is selcted!" error whenever i try working with parameterized components

Update your version of magic. This error got introduced in the August 3 commit and got fixed in the September 25 commit. Versions from 8.3.492 and higher will not have this error.
