Hi all. I am embarking on a major RF project using IHP open pdk and a fully open source flow. Nice to meet you all! I had been experimenting with SKY130 flow, but am now realizing IHP might be a better option for me. I have a couple questions before getting started. • For my project, EM simulation and ADS or Spectre-RF like simulator is a must. I need to be able to have n-port sparameter boxes and run multi port sp simulations. IHP has good documentation and solid OpenEMS support with lots of Octave/Matlab scripts to tie everything together and in general seems more “RF friendly”. Am I right in thinking this? Does anyone with more experience with either PDKs have any insight into this? • Regarding the simulator, I think QUCS-S is my only option. But I can’t confirm if it supports N-port sparameter file simulation (reading from an existing sp file and writing a to a new touchstone sp file). Does anyone here know? • Are designs in IHP-SG13G2 manufacturable? Is there any way to actually tape out something? • Is there a good tutorial I can follow to set everything up?
