Hi, does anyone have experience with a full open source flow for RF design? EM simulation and ADS or Spectre-RF like simulator is a must. I need to be able to have n-port sparameter boxes and run multi port sp simulations. I’ve know a lot of people use SKY130, but I am having the impression that the IHP Open PDK has good documentation and solid OpenEMS support with lots of Octave/Matlab scripts to tie everything together and in general seems more “RF friendly”. (https://github.com/IHP-GmbH/IHP-Open-PDK) Regarding the simulator, I think QUCS-S is my only option. But I can’t confirm if it supports N-port sparameter file simulation (reading from an existing sp file and writing a to a new touchstone sp file). Does anyone here know? Any comments/feedback is most welcome….
