Hello All, Just a quick question to verify: this run is in sky130B, correct? I think the FAQ says all ongoing runs will be in sky130B, but I wanted to make sure so that I account for the parasitics correctly. Thanks!

Open MPW runs use sky130B and ChipIgnite runs (which the IEEE SSCS projects use) use sky130A. We could make an exception if there is a large interest in ReRAM, but we have to declare this well in advance, since designers like you need to be validating designs against the right metal stack. That said, I don't have enough information yet to determine just how much difference there is in parasitics between the A and B variants, as some effects (metal layers raised higher above the substrate) would tend to reduce parasitics, while others (doubled via1 resistance) would tend to increase them. I doubt that the average design would be affected by changing manufacture between A and B or vice versa, but I can't declare that definitively.

@Tim Edwards Ah! Perfect! Thank you. I had actually been using the sky130A models before it occurred to me that I should look to see what this run was. Our design isn’t super sensitive, but I would always rather be safe than sorry. Thanks a lot!
