In the first webinar, we came to know that glayout shall be used. How is it different from Magic or Klayout. We have been using Magic mostly. And the open-source community mostly use Magic. Is it a good idea to converge on one tool?

@Lab Lecture magic and klayout have manual layout editing capability. glayout is a layout automation tool that does not support manual editing.

Please join the next meeting. We will do an intro or GLayout as well as installation of the tools. Magic/KLayout/Netgen are being used in our flow to verify your chip anyways.
