Is there a published sky130A process SOA (Safe Operating Area) information ? Do guidelines exist concerning high voltage and/or high current for all relevant layers. To be able to analyze a design layout and highlight the top 10 SOA concerns (least margin parts of design). What is the conductivity of the guard rings when created as

devices ? what is the material the ring is made of, and what material is the contact areas made of ? Is this material (used in the guard ring) as conductive as source/drain area material ?

@dlmiles there are requirements in the models around limitations on terminals. There were no SOA features in the general flow.Mitch has worked on a voltage check. Others may be added over time but I have not checked the queue. Regarding breakdown voltages, I've not seen much documentation. Mitch would be the right person to work with on defining requirements in a future voltage checking scheme. We know we need it for advanced nodes and high voltage but it wasn't needed for us to get started. Please feel free to write up some of what you'd like to see and we can work to get it in the queue.
