Please be advised that a small but essential sky130 DRC update has just been deployed. For your chipIgnite 2404 submission, there is action you should take now which is expected to be quick and straightforward for you.

If you previously achieved a successful MPW Precheck, you should go to the Efabless platform now and re-run that precheck. Please let us know the result, whether you now encounter a new DRC failure, or your precheck still passes.

All customers using the precheck locally should also run `MPW_TAG=mpw-9i make precheck` to update for checking using the latest rules.

If you are unfamiliar with these steps, or would otherwise like more information, please let us know.

For Tiny Tapeout, the only new DRC issue was with a rule that requires metal 3 tracks to be at least 1.2 um away from MiM (metal in metal) capacitors

So if you are using MiM caps in your design you probably have a very good reason to check your design against the updated DRC deck
