How do you turn off crash recovery file creation?
My `tmp` directory gets full quickly - are these recovery files deleted automatically sometime?

The backup files in `/tmp` are supposed to be deleted when magic exits cleanly (via `quit`).

Are you perhaps doing a hard interpreter exit with `exit`?
