I'm looking into the SkyWater 130 PDK and wanted to check its compatibility with the Cadence toolchain. Does the PDK seamlessly integrate with Cadence tools, and does it include all necessary files for creating a custom standard cell library? Appreciate your insights!

Some people have had success with Cadence but it is not a seamless experience. The best experience is with the open-source tools. I think you would have to contact SkyWater directly to get some of the missing commercial PDK, such as parasitics files.

Hey, I do have access to Cadence tools. This was just a press release that said skywater PDK will soon be available for cadence users. I mailed a few folks from Skywater and they replied that they have "no idea about release dates" and suggested I go check with cadence support. Since then I have got no replies from cadence support.
