Anyone here has experience with gmsh? And willing to answer a few questions?

I have used it a bit recently, but I'm no expert by any means.

I'm trying to understand how to create a mesh with variable density on a geometry. I'm aiming to use such mesh to run EM simulations and I know from experience that successful meshing uses extra density close to edges

I found the video series on gmsh grid generation by SAE Miller on youtube quite useful to get started. Also you can have a look on this reference design that i made and how the .geo file defines transfinite curves to specify grid density.
