RISC-V HDP: A Fun and Interactive 6-Week Adventure into the World of Computer Blocks! RISC-V HDP registration closes in 10-days. For more details and to continue your adventure, visit: RISC-V HDP Program Details. Your next big discovery awaits! We have been repeatedly asked to describe the program in a simpler language. Alright, let's make this curriculum fun and easy to understand, like a storybook for a 5-year-old! Week 1: Say Hello to RISC-V • Imagine RISC-V as a new type of building block toy. First, we learn about where these blocks come from, why they're special, and what shapes they have. • Then, we start playing with a basic set of these blocks (called RV32I) using a computer program (Verilog) that lets us build and see our creations on the screen! Week 2: Discovering RISC-V's Secrets • Next, we look at a big picture (like a map) of how these blocks fit together to make something cool, like a toy robot. This helps us understand how each part works. • We also do some fun activities and games to learn more about these special blocks. Week 3: Looking Closer at the Block Designs • Now, we take a magnifying glass to look very, very closely at the blocks. We learn how they are designed (using something called Verilog code). • We also explore some fancy blocks that are used for special projects. Week 4: Playing with Buttons and Switches • This week is about learning how our toy robot can interact with things like buttons and switches (these are called I/Os in our robot). • We get to play with actual buttons and switches to see how our robot responds. Week 5: Writing Secret Codes for Our Robot • We start writing secret codes (using C code) to tell our robot what to do. It's like creating a secret language! • We also learn another way of giving instructions (inline assembly) to make our robot do things in a super cool way. Week 6: Testing and Making Our Robot Smarter • It's time to test our robot. We learn how to check if it's working properly and how to make it even smarter. • We also learn a quick way (UART bypassing) to make our robot learn new things faster. And that's it! Each week we learn new, exciting things about our toy robot (which is actually a type of computer stuff called RISC-V) and how to make it do awesome things! What an amazing adventure it would be! Over these six weeks, you will be transformed from curious learners into budding hardware designers, ready to take on the world of technology. Remember, this is just the beginning of your journey into the vast universe of computer hardware and design. Keep exploring, keep learning, and who knows what incredible creations you'll come up with next! Register using this link (Expires in 10-days) - https://www.vlsisystemdesign.com/hdp_riscv/

Hi Kunal, Is this a self paced class? I will be out seeing family during the Holiday Season and will not be able to attend your scheduled class date times. Can I view the instruction videos on my own time schedule and take the class exercises on my own time schedule?
k
That’s correct There will be weekly sync-up calls for updates And rest all is self-placed. Like project work

Sounds Great, Thank You
