@Tim Edwards I completed my layout and then instantiated it inside caravan wrapper layout. Did net interconnects manually to wrapper pins. Somehow those interconnections got created inside my instance layout itself. Now not able to delete those metal interconnects from within instance layout ? Same is captued in attached video. Please suggest how can I make my cell in edit mode.

Your problem at the outset here is that there is another

magic

process running which has loaded the cell and so makes it read-only for any other

magic

process that reads the same cell. That method is put there to prevent one session of the layout editor from overwriting edits made in another one. You need to close the process that's still running, since it is holding the files open and preventing them from being opened by other processes.
