Hi, I noticed that in https://github.com/The-OpenROAD-Project/OpenROAD-flow-scripts/tree/master/flow/platforms/asap7 fakerams are used but there is no fakeram gds files provided. Will it be available anytime soon? And out of curiosity why are fakerams chosen over https://github.com/The-OpenROAD-Project/asap7/tree/master/ASAP7_SRAM_0p0?

They are fake so there is no gds. They are there just as placeholders for the lack of real rams. The asap7 data is really only part of what is needed to build a ram and not a complete ram.

Thank you for the response. Just to clarify, the asap7 gds does not reflect its lef counterpart right? Because there are so many versions of eg 64 bit lefs but only 1 gds for 64 bit.

there is no gds for asap7 rams - what "1 gds for 64 bit" are you referring to?
