Something completely different happens when I try and create the same resistor using 'snake geometry': The exposed 'poly' is much shorter than 9.73u and it therefore extracts differently and fails LVS (I believe when 'snake geometry' is selected, the total length now includes the contacts at either end?). Furthermore there is no
res0p35
layer generated so magic treats it as a different device on extraction (
sky130_fd_pr__res_high_po
[snake] vs.
sky130_fd_pr__res_high_po_0p35
[straight]) and there is no
viali
or
metal1
generated in the contacts. Just wondering what could be going on here?
