Hi, does anyone know how to get the name of the painted layer? It can be very difficult to find the layer name from the palette by eye.

Use the 's' key to select an area of the layer or the 'a' key to select everything inside the cursor box, then type the command 'what'. I should probably provide a mode that prints the name of the layer after each icon in the palette. My interface maximizes layout area and minimizes window decorations.
