Why don't any gates show up in GDS for my simple user_proj_example? Any ideas why that may be? It's not quite the same example project but hardly anything has changed. Flow succeeds at all stages, but GDS for the caravel harness shows all the gates, but not my macros.

Macro placement and power routing has changed since the first mpw. Are all your logs ok? Pay particular attention to the PDN routing log.

layers turned off?

@Matt Venn If the macros were included, they’d show up in the hierarchical display on the left hand side of the screen.

ah yes. so then probably the corresponding layers are not turned on

Just checked and unless I'm crazy all the layers are turned on but no gates are showing up. Trying to remove all gate entries from drc_exclude and no_synth in case that does something.

What about these files?

make a tar.gz of the run directory and share it
