hello everyone, I'm new here and I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question or not but here goes:
I was going through analog discovery2's
hardware design guide and was confused as to why it doesn't seem to have a Programmable Gain Amplifier, the gain selector circuit before the buffer has a voltage divider network for selecting low/ high gain but that's then sent to the buffer and then to the driver, without any amplification. As seen in the
. So my question is, is the resistor divider the only 'gain circuit' before the ADC? I expected a variable gain amp or something else controlled by the FPGA.
