Hello Team, I’m currently working on integrating a closed-source PDK into our OpenLane environment, moving from Skywater-130. I’ve been going over open_pdks [http://opencircuitdesign.com/open_pdks/], but I’m looking for additional resources or guidance specifically tailored for porting closed-source PDKs into OpenLane or OpenROAD. I’m seeking any insights or experiences from similar integration projects. Any shared knowledge or resources would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello Everyone, Magic reading GDS files: Magic throws some errors when reading our large Caravan GDS file. The errors are below:

If I flatten the GDS, then Magic reads it no problem. With no errors. I would like to maintain higherarchy for LVS extraction so would anyone have any recommendations on what is causing the errors and how to resolve them? Thanks a lot!

Hello everyone, I'm having a weird problem with lvs. I'm using a spice file extracted from magic and doing an lvs check against a spice file from my schematic. My extraction settings are ext2spice lvs, ext2spice merge conservative. Netgen can't see the devices in the magic generated spice file, it finds zero device instances. It doesn't work with other extraction settings either. It worked just fine a few weeks ago on simpler designs. Has anyone else run into this? Any comments would be much appreciated. I have attached the two files and the terminal output in the comp file.

Not sure where to post this.... It looks like gdsfactory used to allow plotting via matplotlib. But that is replaced with an odd live update interface to klayout... I just want to make images for an assignment and not have to render them through klayout Is there a way to plot to matplotlib?

Hello, am having some trouble with LVS. In short, the L side has less nets than the S--I'm assuming a short somewhere. But where? I'm drowning in information in the lvs report, how do I get netgen to just spit out everything connected in nets for which it can't find a correspondence on the other side?
