@User an attribute (highlight=true) can be attached to all standard cells so they get highlighted when a connected net is highlighted. This way, highlighting a net ('k' key) and hiding everything but the highlights ('5' key) you see all the gates where a net goes. Just a little bit easier to follow a net. By the way this exercise showed a bug in xschem where it was assuming all cells have at least one pin, while in this case we have tap cells with no (non supply) pins. This is fixed, so please update xschem if you want to test this. I have already updated the schematics with the needed attribute.
