Ah, @User recently i have added true postscript/pdf fonts to xschem export, if you have time can you check it out? if you specify a .ps extension you get plain postscript, if you specify .pdf you get pdf (via ps2pdf). xschem window aspect ratio decides if landscape page or portrait. This produces better looking files, lot smaller in size and faster to render. Also svg export is now with true fonts (both dark and light colorscheme) and thus faster to display and smaller in size (perfect for (modern) browser pages, and searchable text).
