@User and in latest xschem_sky130 i have added an example hierarchical schematic (test_analog.sch) with annotation examples shownig annotations in lower levels of hierarchy. I have added lot of comments in the schematic. It is based on sky130 primitives so it can (i think) be used as a basis to do that on other sky130 schematics...
