@User i can update the README_MacOS file if you found differences. May be different MacOS versions require different tweaks, or something has changed. I do not own a Mac so i can not verify directly the results. However if you were able to build xschem on your system and you believe your findings might help other MacOS users, please post a short issue here, specifying your sistem/libraries used, i will update the README.
