(@User) Last xschem commit forces display of ERC (Electrical Rule Checks) window in case of critical situations while producing a netlist (floating/undriven nets, shorted nets, schematic/symbol port mismatch and similar). Netlisting is not aborted (should it? may be in case of shorts) in case of these errors, but showing the messages will catch designer attention.
