@User Thank you for your clarification about the -b option. I have verified that: •

xschem file.sch

runs fine with ngspice batch •

xschem -b file.sch

runs fine with ngspice batch •

xschem -b file.sch &

will stop when starting simulation in batch mode. If you do 'jobs' in the terminal where xschem is started you see the process is stopped. If you put the job in foreground (fg) simulation will start. I will investigate and fix this.
