@User: The way the bindings got the way they are is that I (1) obtain a file of keybindings sent to me by somebody I know, (2) implement the keybindings into the source code on the assumption that the person has used the bindings extensively and considers them superior to what was there before, and (3) discovering eventually that assumption (2) appears to be false.
