@User I don't know enough about web programming to go there, yet. Python in wasm seems overkill? The GDS-translation is not that complicated and could be implemented in JS. Feel free to take it on 🙂. IMO anyone generating GDS files with openlane has access to python and improving efficiency and support for larger layouts has better ROI for now.
