@User I'm sure if you go and look for old papers there is probably some research from the late 1990s about this -- but I have no idea what you would search for and if the assumptions they make still hold -- For example -- we have a lot more compute power for handling the complexity this would add to generating your "configuration bitstream" than they had back then...
