I think announcements also includes important info unrelated to shuttles

Great to know that. Thanks 🙏🏻 So is it a good idea to make the announcements a read-only channel (just for efabless team news and announcements) and merge shuttle into shuttle-status (or vice versa) for other people?

yes, but we can't make announcements read only, we checked and for our plan it's not an option

we can't merge, but we could delete either shuttle or shuttle-status

I think originally #shuttle was about the currently open shuttle (new tool versions, deadline reminders, office hours, asking for help etc.) and #shuttle-status about previous shuttles (manufacturing updates and the like)
