FPGA Vision 2021 - Delivered in 2022 Nothing can beat the relief and satisfaction one gets from deploying a beautiful digital design problem statement on FPGAs and seeing it working. We have tried to enrich young minds with a 5-day FPGA workshop and give them an idea about how fascinating it is. Hi There, Closing this year with the final FPGA workshop, which was planned over 15 months and finally received sponsorships to bring down the cost by 40% Let me tell you a story behind the making of this workshop- Very few people who are close to VSD know that FPGA content was visualized as a part of the OSFPGA (now part of CHIPS Alliance) ETC planning meeting. The content went through many revisions as we didn't want this to be a regular FPGA workshop but more of a hands-on one with many benchmarking experiments, so you get a real feel of how the industry operates in the FPGA domain. It was tough to draft the content (see image) and we had to go through multiple labs, fix bugs and suggested many new workarounds and improvements with the OpenFPGA utility But it doesn't stop there. Along with a passionate vision document, we need an even more passionate instructor who understands the vision and has been in a similar field for a long time. Thanks to our long-time collaboration with Prof. Nanditha during those days who agreed to help us out and become a part of the vision. The workshop was proven to be the BEST FPGA hands-on workshop, which is currently a major part of the academia and corporate curriculum. Over 200+ participants have already gone through the workshop and rated it the highest In this fifth run of "FPGA - Fabric, Design and Architecture", we discuss a few extremely intriguing FPGA fabric design-related topics from their application in daily life to their application in basic FPGA design. We have ensured that this workshop will wake your inner digital design geniuses. We also tried to bring in fun bench-marking experiments and facts that might strike you!
