Info: Just in case..... I am using german keyboard, and if I set in ubuntu 22.04 language : ENG or ITA, I can move the schematic or components with the mouse or via menu. If I set DE, I cannot move anymore the schematic or components.

Can you please verify if NumLock is pressed? xschem displays a red alert , press NumLock again to clear the red warning. Can you move the schematic then?

No, also without NUM lock set I don't have the control... Don't worry, I solved changing the language keyboard. With Eng-ita also with Numlock I can do everything

Having similar issue with SKY130 XSChem Tutorial on Ubuntu 22.04 with a GB keyboard... all complaints disappear when switching layout to EN_US, however. 😄
