********************************************* <!channel> MPW-6 Project Selection Confirmed Hello everyone, Final project selection for MPW-6 is confirmed. If your project has been selected for MPW-6, you will have received a notification from the Efabless platform indicating Provider Confirmed status for the Tapeout stage for your project. There were 59 projects that competed tapeout for MPW-6. Of those, 54 had complete project submissions that made them eligible for the MPW-6 shuttle. These projects received a Provider Confirmed notification for the Submission stage. The final selection was done by a lottery process. Early submissions were provide one additional ‘ticket’ in the lottery for each full week their final tapeout job was submitted ahead of the deadline up to a maximum of 8 tickets. The best ticket was used out of those eligible for each project. If you did not receive a Provider Confirmed status notification for your project, you are eligible for submission to MPW-7 which will be opening in the coming week. Criteria for selection will continue to include the bonus described above for early submissions, so we encourage you to resubmit your design right away if you were not selected for the MPW-6 shuttle. Thanks to everyone who submitted projects for MPW-6. We continue to encourage you to submit and resubmit projects for upcoming shuttles. If there is sufficient number of projects over the capacity, Google will be considering adding additional mask sets to support more projects.
