Do anyone know how could I perform harmonic balance simulations using xyce in xschem? I'm designing a RF amplifier and I need to have its compression point :/

Compression point you can do with a swept transient followed by an FFT to get the H1 tone amplitude. I know that is a bit cumbersome, but this works always 🙂 Same for IIP3/OPI3.

Cumbersome is the word of the moment, it seems 🙂 How do I set this swept transient simulation? Do you have a script, or the spice setup code?

Revolution EDA allows use of Harmonic balance simulation in Xyce to calculate all the relevant parameters such as IIP3, IIP2 and IP1dB even when the simulations do not converge when the circuit behaves strongly nonlinear at high RF power levels.
