@Ashutosh Kumar did you install xschem compiling from sources? https://github.com/StefanSchippers/xschem If you are using preinstalled xschem in your linux machine, please uninstall it and build xschem from source code. Pre-packaged xschem is too old.

hi I again install xschem ,open_pdk ,skywater and ngspice but while installing i got error I am sharing ss of it and somehow I proceed further but while simulating the examples circuit like nmos i get error again ss attached @Stefan Schippers

@Ashutosh Kumar when open_pdks install is finished (and xschem ngspice also finished) you need to create a new empty directory, copy the
.../share/pdk/sky130A/libs.tech/xschem/xschemrc
file into it and run xschem from there. If open_pdks build stops with an error you need to fix that before proceeding further (you can ask Tim Edwards if you can't get around this). You don't need to install skywater-pdk as open_pdks does this automatically.

yes @Stefan Schippers after installing open_pdks i do the same make new dir and paste xschemrc from the .../libs.tech/xschem/xschemrc and try to run but nothing happing when i try to simulate . should I need to reinstall open_pdks only or xschem ngspice also . @Stefan Schippers hey @Tim Edwards could you help me in solving open_pdks installation is there any system specification requirement for the installation of open_pdks @Tim Edwards
t
@Stefan Schippers: No specific requirements that I know of. However, I have open_pdks in a rather messy state right now, as I was all ready to push the version with continuous models, and until Tim Ansell approves it for public release, I am stuck with trying to keep two versions of open_pdks in sync without breaking one or the other.
