@User A separate pad ring was not a supported use case? (IE It was never planned for people to get back bare die -- only packaged, so there would be no way to connect to your pads). Did someone in the program give you a special exception?

We had a handful of exceptions, mainly due to the lack of analog support in the form of the caravan chip which was created after MPW-one.

@Tim 'mithro' Ansell Yes, Kassem told me to do that. My designs would not work with caravel pad rings because they are for high frequency (~2Ghz) and the caravel pad ring is supported for (I guess) 50 Mhz. I would really appreciate if I can get the bare die. I'll search for a facility that can wirebond the chip or even a place that allows me to do that. I've done quite a bit wirebonding and assembly work in my PhD. Hopefully, there will be some circuits in mpw-one that are fully functional. 😇
