As @User says, temperature can also be set using a .STEP command. This works fine, but it has one possible drawback. .STEP currently doesn’t work with our “restart” capability. If running a long transient Xyce can output restart files at specified times. That way if you only want to re-run a later stage of a calculation, you can use restart. But, like I said, restart only works if you are NOT using a .STEP loop. But if you don’t care about restart, then using .STEP works just as well.

Yes. If you have set up the original simulation which produced the restart files to do outputs, those output files will be produced.
