I just followed the instructions in openlane/develop readme.md

with these instructions and commits I don't get sky130_ef_io__gpiov2_pad_wrapped.v needed for caravel simulation

Do you see any errors or warnings during the PDK build process, because the commits there were update yesterday and they do have this verilog file. https://github.com/efabless/caravel/tree/develop
