@User I was the instigator for this channel but there have been a few of us working on this front. What's your experience with RF and VLSI design? I'm working on a gilbert cell mixer and LNA and filter cells but I have no VLSI background so it's slow going getting transistors sized and modelled. I could certainly use some help.

For RF I've worked mostly on signal processing side of things, dabbling a bit in testing and laying out RF hardware. This would also be my beginnings with VLSI design as well, so I think I'm in the same boat with you on design and modeling.

there's need for signal processing support cores as well; multipliers, CIC, FFT, viterbi, hilbert transformer, NCOs, IQ gain correction, quadrature oscillator, generalized FIR filters, etc.

right now we're mostly working on basic cells to get them characterized..so you could try something simple like a 1-bit ADC and DAC
