<@U01AH9HMSQY> I was the instigator for this channel but there have been a few of us working on this front. What's your experience with RF and VLSI design? I'm working on a gilbert cell mixer and LNA and filter cells but I have no VLSI background so it's slow going getting transistors sized and modelled. I could certainly use some help.

For RF I've worked mostly on signal processing side of things, dabbling a bit in testing and laying out RF hardware. This would also be my beginnings with VLSI design as well, so I think I'm in the same boat with you on design and modeling.

Have you looked at the PDK docs yet or setup any of the tools?

there's need for signal processing support cores as well; multipliers, CIC, FFT, viterbi, hilbert transformer, NCOs, IQ gain correction, quadrature oscillator, generalized FIR filters, etc.

right now we're mostly working on basic cells to get them characterized..so you could try something simple like a 1-bit ADC and DAC
