@User: What are you currently doing for W vs. nf compatibility? I just pulled the most recent ngspice pre-master but it appears that I still have to have a ".spiceinit" file with "set ngbehavior=spe". Is that what you're using? I thought that we had convinced Holger that this was not a spectre-compatibility issue, but the definition of the BSIM model. . .

@Tim Edwards Yes this is also what I am doing (i use set ngbehavior=hs). I definitely don't like to have a mandatory .spiceinit file for something that should be a default behavior. Back some time ago i asked the developers why using W/nf to point to the binned models was not the default. But i did not understand their reasons not to do so...
