I'm starting a design in xschem, but after some trial-and-error tweaking of my design I noticed that my threshold voltages seemed oddly high (even on the 1v8_lvt fets) and quite variable (~.6-.9V). I swept vgs and plotted drain current, and this seemed to confirm Vt is higher than I was expecting (coming from an older process where vth was typically ~.5-.6V). Does this reflect what you all have been working with as well? Vt ~= .7V?

From my understanding, the sky130 pdk is largely built on an older 180nm process, and as such the threshold voltages / supply voltage is more reflective of that. Does that explain most of the discrepancy, or is it greater than that?

Thanks for your response. That might explain part of it, but it seems worse even than what I've seen in 180nm. In particular, the variation in Vt is surprising. From .6 to .9V
