I have the PDK_ROOT variable set

Is xschemrc even sourced? do: puts "hello" on the first line. I would assume you need to xschem with -rcfile supplied

this xschemrc file was inside the xschem folder that was created after I installed open_pdk

but you need to just put -rcfile with the path to your rcfile. Bot modify it

And before running the xschem just run the above export command from bash and you should be done
