@User: Yes, it is. It means that there are routes overlapping with obstructions, potentially causing shorts or DRC errors that won't be detected during LVS... The latest commit on openlane will now quit when this is detected. Where/on what layer in your design is this happening?

I wonder if it's related to diode strategy 5 (which I am using for my macros). Switching back to 3 made the issue go away. Still working to narrow it down
