Hi, I have a follow up question regarding my LVS result. I am wondering what “resolving automorphisms by property value” and “resolving automorphisms by pin name” (shown close to the red question mark in the pic I attached) mean. Thank you!

netgen's LVS compares circuit topology. When there are symmetries, there are multiple devices with similar connections that can't be distinguished by topology alone. For example, in your circuit you have 2 transfer gates that are topologically equivalent. These symmetries are also known as automorphisms (a term from graph theory, I believe). In order to resolve these, netgen will first try to differentiate the circuits by devices sizes and if that doesn't work, then by pin names.

Hi Mitch, thank you so much for the explanation about how it works in netgen LVS check! If I understand correctly, it resolve the issues finally (either by property value or pin names) and pass the LVS.
