1. We are thinking of using sky130_sram_1kbyte_1rw_32x256_8 as it's small and stick to single port. Has this memory been tested yet? Would you recommend it or something else

We just put this on the last MPW. The single port uses a different bit cell than the dual port so it is less tested. We did do some simulations though.

You could use the 1rw1r if you are risk averse
