Hi, what is the difference between the two vias labeled via3? One seems to show a connection between metal3 and metal4, but the other shows a connection between metal4 and an unlabeled metal layer. Also, in magic I see the capacitor has layers mimcap and mimcapcontact; are those the space between metal3 and metal4? Or is mimcapcontact the top metal of the capacitor?

In the left case a MIMCAP is inserted. Via4 and via3 have dual-use: they either connect the metal below (if no MIMCAP), or they connect the top-plate of the MIMCAP (the dielectric is not shown in the figure between cap2m and m4, respectively capm and m3).

@User Does that mean when routing a MIMCAP I should use m3 as the bottom plate and mimcapcontact as the top plate?
